Millaclean™ Mill Roll Cleaner
Based on the structure of Millathane® polyurethane, Millaclean™ Mill Roll Cleaner is a rubber material developed for cleaning mill rolls. The roll cleaner contains an abrasive material that gives it added strength for cleaning sticky compounds from rubber mill rollers. Millaclean™ can be used on cool or warm mills. It can be used repeatedly, even as it grows up to 10 times its original size.
You can band Millaclean™ on the mill on the opposite roll that requires cleaning. If the front roll has material stuck to it, band the cleaner to the back roll of the mill. You can also roll it into a “pig” or rolled-up bundle, continually passing the product through the mill and repeating as necessary.

Millaclean™ Guidelines for Cleaning
- 12″ Lab Mill: 1 to 2 lbs.
- 16″ Lab Mill: 3 to 5 lbs.
- 48″ Mill: 10 to 15 lbs.
- 60″ Mill: 20 to 25 lbs.
Due to the abrasive material contained in Millaclean™, there may be a slight residue on mill rolls or in the mill pan after usage. In most cases, it is not necessary to wipe the rolls off, but it can be easily removed by wiping the mill rolls with a cloth or passing rubber through the mill.
Millaclean™ is not recommended for use in internal mixers or extruders.
